Hurray, you made it!! It has been so fun to follow your adventures. I'm glad to hear you are working on the Obama campaign. My surveyor friend in Fairbanks (well, I guess David now qualifies as my second surveyor friend in Fairbanks...) has been dutifully answering my bewildered questions about the governor up there. He says he is terrified that she would become president because she would set the SUpreme Court back 50 years. Very narrow right-wing conservative, anti-evolution and anti- a lot of other things we liberal Democrats believe in. He had some interesting anecdotes if you would like me to forward them (but I prefer not through this blog).

Anyway, so glad you made it safely and that the new house is all you hoped for.

Congrats ! It was so much fun following along on your trip. The house looks pretty cool, tried to locate it on google earth the other night. Keep us posted when you can about how things are going. Best of luck.

So you really made it!!! Floods of memories, everytime I read a new location. We didn't get to all of them, but at least recognize names. The house sounds neat. I remember bathing with our David at Circle Hot Springs (inside the Arctic circle). It was neat.
So what's the skinny there on Ms. Sarah???? I guess it's a little early for you to know too much. Probably haven't talked to new friends yet, got to keep them as friends.

It was wonderful talking to you yesterday and we appreciated that you were concerned about us. Our kids did not call until late today. The storm was a complete dud - thank goodness. We leave for PHL on Wed. for a wedding.

I am delighted that the trip was terrific and that you now have a home to hang your hat. I was worried.

I did make a copy of your address from your blog, but it does not list your email address.
