I noticed a picture of Mr/Mrs Claus (or could that have been David/Ellen)?
Got your post card a few days ago & according the date it only took about 3 or 4 days. Not sure now. Glad to hear you enjoy your life. You guys are so well organized. At this very moment in my neck of the country we are getting mornings with a chill factor of 0 to 5 +/-. I don't spend much time in the great outdoors so I really don't care. Except we also have snow & ice so nothing's melting.

Keeping busy, still working one day a week and active with Hadassah.

I had Chana here for a visit for a week in Jan when she had off from school so we invited Meadow over (Ed brought her)(he visited Sylvia also) and I took them to Barnes and Noble. I offered to buy them each a book but Meadow didn't want one. I had a Capuccino while they roamed around. The girls really enjoy each other's company. I gave them both dinner but Meadow is either a very small eater or very shy. Ed came for her. I was afraid I'd get lost in the dark plus it had iced over again. Ed is really a thoughtful and sweet person.

Much love and kisses to you both and tell Fred who I am so he'll know if he ever meets me.

Hi David & Ellen,
Well it sounds like the frozen north is still an exciting adventure for you both. Love the frozen heads above what I hope was the 100 degree hot spring!

Things are busy here as we try to keep the doors open one more year - or at least until the financial situation gets better. You would love a new development up the East Branch from here. The Phila Renewable Energy folks build 3 algea to fuel greenhouses on Behmerwalds property. Sounds very cool & we are hoping to get a tour one of these days. Totally off the grid with solar and wind power only. No discharge and no toxic by-products. If everything they tell me is true and sustainable, this could be the new fuel of the future. (the fact that it is not in the news more, leads me to believe that there is something holding them back that is not public info yet!)
In any event, the more things change the more they stay the same. We are working hard to pay bills and keep the building standing while expanding our programs and project. Its all good!

Hope you survive the winter and make it through to the endless summer evenings. You are missed and thought of often!
Stay warm,
Crystal
